June 13, 2014 a day to remember forever

Well I guess its time to let everyone know about how our day went.  It was an amazing day and I'm so glad that we had so much family to help us celebrate it.
In the morning we got to the church to set up everything and there was a sign on the doors saying we couldn't be on the floors.  So we had to make a few quick phone calls and luckily we were ok to go on the floor.  At least one thing has to go wrong on the wedding day right? :)

After I had gotten dressed and before everything started I wanted to get a picture of Tom seeing me for the first time in my dress.  So Chelsey helped me get in my dress and then we had Tom stand with his back to me and then while the photographer was taking pictures he turned around.

 He was so surprised! :)

I was so glad to have some time before and we were able to have some pictures done.

It was nice to get all the family pictures done before the ceremony because then we could eat something before the reception.  It also made it so we could just visit with people.

He loves his dad so much

The only time Josh will be shorter then us haha :) I know he was there in spirit though

 I love this picture
My family is now a lot bigger and I love it :)

My friend Jenni and her family did the decorations and they did an amazing job.  I could have never asked for anything better.

The quilt was done by my Aunt Toni, Grandma, and other family members I love it. :)

Cake cutting

It was hard to try and not tip it over and we were nice to each other.

First Dance
He is such a goof and does some funny dancing he always keeps a smile on my face. :)
I am married to my best friend :)

Taking off of the garter and throwing of the bouquet
I kept tickling him while he was trying to take it off
Here you go have it back haha The only two single guys there Kenny and little Robert :)
He's so cute so dressed up

I had to convince her that she could keep it.  They were so cute in their yellow dresses.

So everyone thought they were sneaky, but when they all disappeared I knew exactly what had happened.  They weren't to mean at least.  It was nice to get some pictures of it.  Since we had to drive separately they got both of our cars. :)

Confetti all over in my car
Yes that is a potato with noise makers in it on my exhaust.  Oh man it was really funny when I pressed on the gas.  They also took the Dr. Pepper in my car and tied it to my car, as soon as I took off it exploded all over.

Over all it was a great day.  I am so glad to be Mrs. Miller now.  I am looking forward to the day that we can go to the temple and be sealed for eternity.  It is one thing that we will get there some day no matter what.  I am so grateful for my family and the family I married into for all the support.  We couldn't do it without any of you.  I have to say thank you to my adoptive family the Hancey's they have helped me through so much.  They spent so much time helping Tom and I with decorations.

Happy New Year!!!!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!

Well to begin I got to talk to my brother on Christmas who is in Mexico on his mission.  That was so neat, he is doing so well and has such a strong testimony.  I look up to him so much even though he is younger then me.

I am looking forward to this new year.  I have a feeling its going to be amazing.  I'm hoping that some things that are going on right now will go the way I think they will.  There are so many things that I don't know what's going to happen, but I know that if I put my trust in Heavenly Father that everything will work out.

Well I hope everyone has a great year and everything works out the way you would like it to. :)

Its Christmas

This year has been so crazy I can't believe that its almost over.  I guess this is kind of like my Christmas card for everyone.

In July I moved into my apartment, which is awesome to have my own little home.  When I say little I mean little haha.  Then August 7 Josh went to the MTC for his mission in Oaxaca, Mexico.  He is doing so well with the mission.  He was made Senior Companion which is awesome.  He puts Spanish in his emails and I have no idea what he is saying most of the time haha.  Even though he is in a different country he is still being such and example to me and answers to some of my prayers.   He is so in tune with the spirit.
He looks so good :)

Then on August 16th was my last day at Farr's Ice Cream and then I started as a First Grade Teacher for Ogden School District.  I am glad that I have my dream job even though it can be hard at times.  I have had a sinus infection and pink eye so far this year.  Oh the joys of being a first year teacher.  I probably will get sick again, but fingers crossed I don't.

I am so excited for Christmas this year.  Normally I don't look forward to it, but there is so much going on that I am so excited for.  I was able to go to Salt Lake and see the lights on Temple Square with some friends.  That was so much fun.  Even though we got on the wrong Front Runner train and started heading South instead of North.  Then had to get off and wait for a train that was headed North.  It was a ton of fun. :)

Brittany got white washed by Jake haha :)

The other thing that I am super excited about is that I'm spending Christmas with Sam and Chelsey and we get to talk to Josh hopefully.  This Christmas will be so much fun to watch Robert open his gifts and to have a break from school.

Well that's about it for now.  I hope that you enjoyed it. :)

One Year

Its been a crazy year since last conference.  Josh was able to put his missionary papers in a year earlier then he thought he would.  Then was able to leave on August 7th.
This was when me and my dad dropped him off at the MTC. Cried like a baby.
Here he is with his Mission President and his wife.

The next two years are going to go by so fast.  He's already been out for almost two months.  Even though I miss him a lot, he is where he should be. :) I hope to find someone to marry someday that is like Josh.  He is such an example to me.  I want someone that will treat me just like how Josh treats everyone no matter who they are.

Being a school teacher
Well its been a month and a half since school started. Its a rewarding job and it can be difficult at times.  I'm just glad I have a really good friend that is on my team.
I love my students even though there are days I want to pull my hair out.
Here is a picture of my classroom from my desk.  It doesn't always look this clean ;)
Even on those weeks when I don't think I can do it anymore I realize I can.  I am so grateful for all of those people that are in my life.  I couldn't do everything that I do.
I have been dating a little bit.  It would be nice to get married one day.
I just had to put this on here, I have the cutest nephew in the world.  He is talking to me on the phone. :)

May Celebrations :)

Well its been a while since I posted something so I guess I should. :) There has been a lot that has gone on since then.  First off I graduated from Utah State University with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.
Me with my nephew on graduation day :)
I was so relieved to finally be done.  I was still a long term substitute at this point and working at Farr's Ice Cream so it was kind of a crazy weekend, I loved it though.

My brother got his mission call to Oaxaco, Mexico he will report to the MTC on August 6th.  I'm so proud of him that he has decided to go on a mission.  Everything that he has gone through he has stayed so strong in the gospel.  He is such an example to me.  He also graduated from Fremont High School go Silverwolves :) He got a 4.0 three quarters in a row. (I just have to brag a little bit about my little brother who is amazing)
He is going to be such a great missionary :)

I went through the temple on May 18th, it was such a great day.  I was glad that my sister and brother-in-law were able to make it.  I had a lot of people that showed up to support me.  It was awesome to be able to have my dad there.  I am so grateful for the gospel that is in my life and for those that support me.
I celebrated my 25th birthday on the May 23rd that was amazing because I got to celebrate with my students and my friends.
I was able to go through the Brigham City Temple.

Well that is about it for now.  I have a job interview tomorrow for Ogden School District for a Special Education position fingers crossed that I get it. :)

Teaching

There has been a lot going on since the last time I posted.  I was substituting a lot right after I got my degree.  I will walk for graduation on May 4th I am so excited.  Anyway back to what's been going on. :) I got a call back in March about a long term substitute job in Box Elder.  I told them of course I would do it.  Its for a resource classroom teaching math and reading.

I found out that the job would be open for hiring.  So of course I applied for the position right away.  I had the interview and I feel like it went really well.  I find out tomorrow about the job.  I have a good feeling about getting the job.  I am excited to finally have my own classroom and that the students will finally be mine.

I am so grateful for my Heavenly Father and everything that he does for me.  I have had so many blessings come from him that I don't know how I can't be grateful.  I have a testimony about going to the temple and doing work for the dead.  Those that have passed on really are grateful for us doing their work.  I also know that Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers.  I have had so many prayers answered.  I also know that the scriptures are true and that we have a living prophet here on earth.  I love this gospel with all of my heart.

My brother is going to Oaxaca Mexico.  I am so excited for him to go and teach the people there.  He is going to be a great missionary especially since he has always been a missionary since he was little.  I look up to him so much.  He has always been an example to me.  He will graduate and then in August leave on his mission.

I love my siblings! They have been such an example to me even though they are younger then me.  They are the ones I go to when I need someone to talk to.  They are my best friends and I'm glad I have them.

Well this has been a random post but I hope you enjoyed. :)
